Disclosure Page (You Should Know…)

Hey, it’s important that everything stays on the up and up, right?  So, you should know that I’m part of the Amazon Affiliates program, and I also use affiliate links on this site.  If there are links to a product on this site, a commission may be paid to me if you purchase the product.  I will never write a favorable review on a product if I don’t personally think it’s worth your while.

Any commissions received as a result of Searching For My Eden’s promotional efforts will not impact opinions on a product. If, through research and/or use of a product proves to be a benefit to the end-user, I will consider promoting it.  In other words, if I believe in it, you might see a link for it.  If I don’t believe in it, I’m not gonna lie.

The Federal Trade Commission considers it important for the consumer to understand the relationship between the product reviewer and the manufacturer of the product and, hence, has made this disclosure statement a requirement by law.  Basically, no funny business going on!

To put it in stiff, legal sounding jargon,

“Our website may contain affiliate marketing links, which means we may get paid commission on sales of those products or services we write about. Unless stated otherwise, our editorial content is not influenced by advertisers or affiliate partnerships. This disclosure is provided in accordance with the Federal Trade Commission’s 16 CFR § 255.5: Guides Concerning the Use of Endorsements and Testimonials in Advertising.”

Also, this site uses cookies.  (No, not chocolate chip ones.) 😉  If you’re in any way concerned, check out what Google has to say about it here.

So, basically I just want you to know that if you click on an ad, or a link, I might get paid a small commission at no extra cost to you.  I’m so grateful for your support (’cause hey, diapers are expensive!), but I appreciate you, my readers, the most.
